Editorial resume template

A magazine serif — Merriweather — with generous leading, which gives the page the rhythm of print rather than of a form. Its headings are set at deliberately tight tracking, because bold uppercase Merriweather split into one run per character at the tracking this style usually invites, and a heading that extracts one letter at a time is a heading no parser will ever match. It suits writers, editors, marketers, academics and anyone whose work is language.

What it is not good for

Generous leading is expensive. This is one of the least dense templates here, so a long history will need the compact setting or a second page — and it is a serif, which some engineering and design readers find dated.

What an ATS extracts from it

Led the decomposition of a 400k-line billing monolith into eight event-driven services, cutting median deploy
time from 45 minutes to under 4.
Designed an idempotent ledger write path that eliminated double-charge incidents entirely across 40M daily
requests.
Cut p99 checkout latency by roughly 35% by replacing synchronous fraud checks with a queued scoring
pipeline .
Mentored four engineers and ran the team's on-call rotation and incident review process.

Its score on our own rubric

Our sample resume, rendered in this template at normal density, scores 92 out of 100. The deductions that remain are properties of the sample’s writing, not of the template — which is the point of showing it: the layout is not what is costing points.
